In his 2004 BBC series “Medieval Lives” Terry Jones once again challenges conventional views about history — here taking different archetypal roles in medieval society, looking at traditional views and common preconceptions, and then skewering them with some lesser-known facts. Jones, by the way, holds a degree in medieval studies and is the author of two books on the subject.
