Earlier this week, the House voted 251-166 to send Kucinich’s impeachment resolution to committee, a maneuver that allows the Democratic leadership to freeze the measure indefinitely. While many dismiss Kucinich’s mission as futile and irrelevant, it has accomplished something important and that is to place Bush’s misdeeds into the historical record. In these “times of universal deceit” that’s no small feat.
